Hi, I am Christie and I want to be your new adventure buddy and photographer! Whether you want to have an epic adventure elopement or a low-key, relaxed micro wedding, I am here for it!
I believe in documenting the smallest of moments but also those big, monumental ones too. I believe in intentionality which means helping you create images that are authentic to you. So whether that is reading private vows on a beach before celebrating with your families or the stolen looks on your adventure elopement hike, these are the moments I want to help you remember forever.
Specializing in adventure elopements and intimate micro weddings, I only photograph the things that make me happy. Selfish? Bad business? Maybe. But if I feel connected to what I am working on, that means you will feel that connection when you see those final images. And that is my goal for each and every one of you.

Why should we elope?
Because I believe that your wedding day should be exactly what YOU want. Not what your great aunt wants, not what your best friend wants. What YOU want, what your partner wants. Once you decide to ditch the status quo and be true to who you both are and what you desire for that special day, we can start planning the most epic day of your dreams. And don't worry, an "epic" day doesn't have to be hiking to the summit of a mountain (although I won't say no to that if that's what you want); your epic day can be whatever your hearts desire, even if that is renting a cute Airbnb and saying your vows in front of a roaring fire. Eloping means being intentional with how you want to spend your wedding day and I want to make sure that you get exactly what you want. I am here for all the planning, permits, timelines, and of course, photos. I want to capture every little detail so that I can tell the story of your insanely amazing elopement in the truest, most YOU way possible.
What the heck is a Cinematic PhoTographer?
Someone who tends to stay away from your typical look-at-the-camera-and-smile photos during an elopement. Someone who focuses on storytelling, regardless of whether that story includes a ten-mile-hike to say your vows, a slow morning listening to records, or playing in the snow in your wedding outfits. Every moment of your elopement day is a part of your unique story and as cinematic, storytelling photographer, my goal is to make sure you have photos to remember it all. Part of this process involves getting to know you and your partner and most importantly, building trust. I learn about your interests and passions, your likes and dislikes, which help guide me in how to approach your elopement day from a photography perspective. So whether you are the kind of couple that thrives on being in front of a camera or the type that needs some more guidance, I have got you covered. Your story deserves to be told in the most authentic way possible—-so let’s make that happen!
